UK Team Social 2015

We had the UK team social at Crowsheath Fishery in Essex over the weekend. We were blessed with wonderful weather wich was great for the socializing side but not so good for the fishing. The lake is beautifully kept with great staff who do the extra to make sure you enjoy your stay, offering buggy rides for you and your gear and they even offer food delivered to your swim!

We managed one fish, a small but welcome common to Chris Purssey…. but we all had a great time and was great to all get to talk about future things that are coming and all having a look at something very very special that we have been working on all summer. We will be coming back very soon to try and catch some of the stunning carp that live there….

World Carp Masters

Here are a few more pictures that we have been sent from our guys John De Koning, Peter Hutting and David Bijloos and many more friends. You can see how hard the conditions where that they had to deal with, but they still had time to enjoy themselves!

35lb 6oz Wild River Chunk

North American team captain Adam Cieplik with a stunning wild river common….

Electric Area Chunk

Had a late start today because I couldnt wake up. Got setup at the Electric Area swim at 12:00 and spombed fine particle over my rods. In 4 hours I caught the same catfish twice. This was a good sign of not many catfish in the area. At 6:45 I got a good run but not a screamer. It had good weight and the fish didnt want to come in. Took me around 7 minutes to finally get this carp near my boat. I was pumped when I saw the weight on this fish. Netted her and placed her in my cradle. Slipped her in the sling and weighed her stopping at 35lb6oz. Very pleased with the shape of this fish and how its not a long common river carp. Caught on a white Corn Stack, katran manta hooklink, CVT wide gap hook and CVT end tackle.

Huge well done mate, another stunning fish!…
